Where to go??
Everyone shopping online for electronics wants the same thing - A good product at a good price. The thing that I want to fix, however, is that they are STILL paying retail for these products, and that is NOT GOOD!!
Now I, like the rest of us, have spent WAYY too much on electronics in the past ($400 ipod, $50 SD card), but every time i do the research i get a way better deal ($400 laptop). Follow these steps and get a STEAL every time.
Step 1: Know what you want
Always go into online shopping knowing what you want, and the price range that you are working with. Knowing the specifications that you are looking for is critical. You may have to bend either your budget or your product expectations so that you get what you want.
Step 2: Compare prices
EBAY: eBay is a great place that is commonly misjudged by the public. Many people thingk that all of the things on eBay are old shit out of someones attic, or stuf that they have beaten up so badly that they dont want to have to deal with anymore. This is just not true! More than two thirds of the items that are on eBay are BRAND NEW! Power-sellers buy bulk brand-new items and will sell them to you at a great discount. The laptop that I am typing on right now was purchased for $400 off retail brand new of of eBay.
Tiger Direct: I believe that tiger direct is one of, if not the, biggest online providers of electronics on the internet. They always have almost anything computer or electronics related you could (or should) ever want. They provide many refurbished items that they will sell to you at great discount, and also name-brand items for a little more. BEWARE THE DISCOUNT it will take about a month to get and requires much confusing paperwork nonsense.
Step 3: BUY THE THING ALREADY!!
You have done the work, now reap the reward! Chances are you have saved about 20% or more on this product, now use it!!! Your welcome for the tips!!!!
PS: Name brand is not always the way to go, compare specifications and reviews of non name-brand items to those of name-brand ones.

BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!
Before purchasing, be sure to google your product to be sure that you are getting a good one. Search the name of the product and the word "review" or "flaws". They will tell you things about the product that the manufacturer won't.Step 3: BUY THE THING ALREADY!!
